This week our 8th graders put our school mission into practice, serving over 80 families in need.

They spent 4 hours volunteering at Portland Adventist Community Services distributing and restocking over 8,000 pounds of food! Pastor Fernando, who helped supervise and coordinate this field trip, commented that “the mission of PACS is to give people dignity through fresh, healthy, good quality foods.”

Not only is it a blessing to get to serve others, the opportunity empowered our students and allowed them to see first hand how their efforts can have a positive impact in the lives of others.
