Principal’s Welcome

Welcome to PAES, where we are passionate about community and helping children to grow and develop academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Our first priority is relationship and community building. Our core values provide a guide to live and love others as Jesus did through the 5C’s: Caring, Courage, Courtesy, Common Sense, and Cooperation. Together we learn and practice these values which help us to develop friendships and serve others in our community.

Feeling connected and a strong sense of belonging is key to a person’s overall well-being. We develop cross-grade friendships, mentorships, and a deepened sense of belonging through our “Family Packs,” where our middle school students practice their leadership skills by planning and leading various group games and activities. 

In addition to daily worship and Bible study within each class, we also gather as a whole school to worship each week. This is yet another opportunity for students to lead and share their gifts through music, skits, readings, prayer, and shared testimonies.   

We are a standards-referenced school, meaning we use state and national learning standards to determine academic expectations at each grade level. This ensures that students are acquiring the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in higher education. This practice also allows our teachers flexibility and creativity in their instruction as they differentiate and engage our students. Because we value the importance of student-teacher relationships as well as providing engaging and rigorous instruction, we keep our class sizes small.
