Library
“You can find magic wherever you look. Sit back and relax, all you need is a book.”
-Dr. Seuss

Portland Adventist Elementary School
The PAES library is a community space for students to explore new books, conduct research for projects and study. Our Librarian Mrs. Cummings, or Mrs. C as the students lovingly call her, is dedicated to nurturing each student and she has created an inviting space where discovery and fun go hand in hand.
Weekly library time is included in classroom schedules for Kindergarten through 8th grade. Students are able to check out books and periodical resources. The library is also where we gather on Friday mornings for our weekly school family worship.
The PAES book exchange is located just outside the library, in the hallway near the main entrance. Help yourself to a new book (or two!) and bring a book to leave with Mrs. C for someone else.
